Ria is an excellent tutor who excels in making the student completely comfortable with our lessons, progress and discussions. She has a clear structure for her tutoring and never fails to check understanding and explain anything I have missed. Her encouragement is sincere and helps me gain the confidence to try new phrases and sentences. She pushes me to challenge myself frequently and supports me along the way. With extra help in the form of websites and videos, Ria consistently goes the extra mile. A truly magnificent Dutch tutor all-round.

My wife and I began Dutch lessons with Ria some months ago and we would recommend her highly. We take lessons as a couple which is perfect and allows us to progress in tandem in advance of our move to the Netherlands. I am very pleased with how quickly Ria was able to level my current language skill and provide material that is challenging yet achievable. I feel that I am making progress in a structured way and I look forward to, and enjoy my lessons with, Ria. I am also very pleased with the flexibility offered regarding timings and days for my Beginners Dutch lessons.
